传达不出的供僧会开场白

2010平等和谐供僧祈福大会于八月一日在金马宫举办。文宣部硬要把我摆上英文司仪的这个位置，我不曾有过上台经验。只好大量收集有关资料，漏夜把它消化塞入脑海，充分准备，就不怕临时不知所措。中文司仪是我的好友，一心以为也许可以和我中英搭档，擦出火花。著着光鲜亮丽，他亦准备就绪。然而临场开始前却跑出一个程交金，我们两个都落选了。莫名其妙的安排，我倒无所谓，但写在我老友脸上的问号，谁可向他解答？老友，与我一道欢天喜地排队去供僧吧！ 主办当局办事的规则，决不是你我可以理解的。


An undelivered message in Maha Sanghika Dana August 01, 2010.

Members of the Sangha, Host of the event， Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, Brothers and Sisters in the Dharma, ladies and gentlemen.

Good morning and welcome each and every one of you to this auspicious assembly of 2010 Equality and Harmony Maha Sanghika Dana. Dana is a Pali word which means giving, generosity, charity and liberality. It occupies an important part in our Buddhist's teaching. Lay Buddhists like us， are always taught to offer four requisites to the Sangha: the food, the robe, the medicine and monastery building as， The Sangha are the ones who are in the best position to mindfully cultivating, studying, practicing, safeguard Dharma, making righteous Dharma staying in the world. Offering Dana to Shangha are helping and supporting the monks to survive in good health, to pursue a holy life, to practice well and liberated from Samsara. Donors in return will attain favorable rebirths, will become wealthy in this and future life.

Today, in this first Sunday of Vassa Month, let us together sincerely, joyfully with non-greed, non-hatred, non-delusion, practice this act of giving, cultivating a heart of true metta and karuna.

大家早上好！欢迎各位来参加这个非常殊胜的2010平等和谐供僧祈福大会。

供僧，简单的说就是供养出家众。僧伽是三宝之一，负有传承佛法，续佛慧命的使命。佛陀教育在家信徒，护持僧伽，供养僧伽四种日常生活所需，食物，袈裟，药品和住所，协助方便法师维持健康的体魄，远离苦恼，心无旁顾，专心修行，护持佛法，教育群众，让正法长存於世。供僧是最殊胜的施与，今生来世都能获得财富的果报，重要的是供僧信徒，皆能往生善处。

今日就让我们大家一起，在僧伽开始结夏安居的第一个星期天，弃除一切贪嗔痴，抱着一颗真实清净的慈爱心，为所有的出家众, 虔诚的，欢喜的, 献上我们衷心的供养。
